This position is to provide configuration management services. The SCM will create development builds and deliver code to high level test environments and Production. They will create iterative code releases from Sprints using Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, and Unix skills to merge development code into the production branch. This position will also prepare version description of release content and attend the customer’s technical meetings to receive and deliver statuses.
Prepare Configuration Management plans, addendums and CI worksheets
Identify baseline and non-baseline products
Prepare for and support milestone exits
Coordinate project level CRs
Provide ClearCase support to developers
Support the project Configuration Control Board (CCB)
Organize data to help the board make decision
Support Project Managers on the two different projects
Work across the enterprise to coordinate with the various stakeholders
Project Minimum Requirements
At least eight (8) years of relevant experience
Demonstrated hands-on experience in Software Configuration and change management processes and implementation across different environments (Dev, Test, Prod)
Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining UCM and branches for multiple release management in Rational ClearCase
Very strong skills in Rational Clear implementation for code merging, check-in, check-out, versioning, and administration
Strong communication skills and ability to work across organizations
In-depth understanding of the software development life cycle for implementing Enterprise level systems
Experience with Rational Tools ClearCase, ClearQuest, RequisitePro and experience integrating the toolset
Excellent attention to detail capability

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
